Identifying Angels?
I was just wondering, if their is any Christain angel classified looking like this, because im not too savy with my theology and I was wondering if this angel has any meaning when conveying messages through dreams. Here's the descreption: It was defintley a woman. She wore a white tunic with one strap going over her right shoulder. She had flowing red hair that was curled, and the light was so bright that I could not see her face or facial features. And she said unto me this: "You will be a mighty warrior.". Although this sounds corney and rather absured, but I guess it never hurt to ask for other people prespective.
Of course, in the Bible there are only male-appearing angels mentioned, but that doesn't mean they might not appear as women.
As with any "sign and wonder," I'd pray for God to reveal more about this, but not base my life upon this vision. It's important to line this up with other things God may be revealing to you, through the Word, prophetic words given by people you trust, and other events in your life.
To me, it sounds like an encouragement to you to press-in to a life of dedication to God and prayer. If this is truly a vision from God, he'll give you more indications in the future to show you *how* you'll become "a mighty warrior" -- whether it will be in intercessory prayer, or through some other gift or calling. Focus on developing an intimate relationship with Jesus, so you can learn to hear his voice clearly and obey the Word and related promptings he speaks into your spirit.
And, ask God to give you one or more spiritual mentors who can help guide you into a closer walk with God and help you understand the various ways he speaks to people.
