OK - gender question of the night....?
I was watching the movie "The Pink Panther" after downing a few six-packs when I had a brilliant insight - is this a gender parable for our time?
Did detective Jacques Clouseau represent all good men, while Cato, the martial arts guys that was always making surprise attacks on Clouseau, represent main-stream feminism?
Meanwhile, did Chief Inspector Charles LaRousse Dreyfus represent the mainstream media, always trying to drag good men down?
While, Sergeant François Chevalier, Clouseau's girlfriend (eventually) represent all good women?
And, lastly, do the evil, Rowdy villain(s), who seemed to care little for the health of detective Clouseau, represent Fast Food Franchises ?
I must confess, the parallels are stunning.
Ok rowdy ol boy av another brew. I happen to be a fan of the Pink Panther movies. And I don't get it ( could be the half pint I had).
