Corset size for plus size gal

Alrighty, so I need a corset and I need to find out how to pick the right size for me.
I read that you should pick one that is a few inches smaller than your waist line, BUT this is where the problem comes in.
My waist is smaller than the rest of my stomach area. Picture a capital B... with the top part of the B being from under the breasts to the waist, and the bottom part being from waist to crotch.

I'm exactly the same as you, I hate trying on clothes. I bought my corset from ebay, and it comes with 2 ribbons at the back, so you can tie the top and bottom halves of it to suit your shape.
