Ideas for clothes for a young mom?
hey everyone, im 18 and just had a beautiful baby boy 7 weeks ago. I currently just wear jeans and tshirts since i went up 4 dress sizes and have no prepregnancy clothes that fit. I want to look more "mom" and less "college" lol.
All the clothes in the Jrs dept either look too young or [bottoms] give me muffin top because they arent made for curves. I dont want to look sexy or look too overdone, i want easy clothes that are a little more mature. What are some good stores for my needs lol?
I'm an 18 year old mom of an 11 week old baby boy! They are sweet aren't they? I found a fabulous pair of jeans that I love from Reitmans...they are almost as comfortable as maternity pants...just look for the ones that don't have a zipper or buttons or belt loops. And then come up high enough that there isn't a muffin top. I think they have dress pants like that as well. I also bought some cute tops that hide it from Old Navy. But mostly my clothes come from Wal-Mart because I plan on losing weight making the clothes a temporary thing so I don't want to spend too much on them and the money I save can go to things for my son! I bought a cute skirt from there that comes up high enough to hide stuff as well and it goes to my calf so I don't have to worry about my thighs. The trick is to try new things on...and not any hip hugger styles either...it's time for pants that go to the waist so you don't get that muffin top!
